Swimming with the Valencias is a dark comedy that follows the characters at a swimming summer camp in Ft. Myers, Florida. Miles, the director of Davis Academy, and Lester, a swimming instructor, receive a gift from the Valencias, a wealthy Colombian family whose daughter, Sol, is attending the camp. However, the Valencias' mysterious profession and the source of their wealth become the subject of speculation among the camp's employees, including Freddy, a UPS delivery man, and Roger, a coconut water thief. As the story unfolds, the characters find themselves caught up in the Valencias' dangerous world of drug trafficking and violence.
